Canadian oil companies need a supply of nearly 1 billion litres of biodiesel by 2012 to meet government mandated renewable fuel standards. With less than 100 million litres in domestic production and a growing global demand, BioStreet Canada’s 225 million litre “Vegreville Energy” biodiesel facility will represent 25% of the Canadian market.
